    I'm getting out of the Army in a few months, and have had surgery on both of my shoulders. I have range of motion back and everything, do you think it would be a good idea to go into flatbed work?

    Thanks, pretty sure he will approve of it, according to him I have made very good progress and am healing faster than expected. I'm looking at working in the glass division at Maverick.

    I had a minor shoulder operation 18 yrs ago and was sent home by a flat bed company awhile back. The doc doing their physicals saw the scar and sent me packing, no questions asked. You need to make sure of the company's policy on shoulder/back operations before going to orientation.

    I've checked out Maverick's policy on that, said it wouldn't be an issue. I don't think I'll have a problem with 70 pound tarps, lifted 80 to 90 pound camo nets before and after surgery.
