But if its a Volvo warranty Volvo uses all kind of tricks to get out of it. I had to show that an overhead had been run before they would do warranty work. They told me if an overhead hadn't been ran then the warranty was void due to not properly maintaining. Volvo is out to ##### any and every one they can its all about $$$$ their customer service is sheety. Their maintance is even worse they go by the book really watch them when they are working on you truck they have to use a book most the time.
Sorry you had such a bad experience. While not a lot of experience, all my interactions have been great. I do not have a Volvo extended warranty. While shopping I had several Volvo dealers that would not offer them. Not sure but sounded like they are run by a third party. Only people talking them up was Arrow. And I am sure based on the price they quoted me the sales man made more on that than the truck. One guy started right in on it. Not a good sales pitch when you are telling me I can buy extra coverage on the truck before I look at it. Several mechanics have told me that to make sure that you tell the shop that you have a warranty and what type it is. How they position the problem can be the difference between fighting a claim and getting it paid.
We had to stop in Sparks, NV and I think the labor rates their were in the $80's, shrug, just love our VN780....
