Don't let my first post fool ya, I'm a diehard bowtie guy. I do have a soft spot for the vintage Ford's though. Dabbled a bit with Dodge vehicles in my late teens as well.
They dump 800 lbs of cobblestone from 5 ft into the beds. The Ford had holes knocked in the bottom of the bed. Like 14 cracks in it. Set a steel tool box (empty) on the side rail and knock it over. Cuts hole in the Ford, dents the Chey. But not out of the normal for a truck to go through.
That was a Chrysler 330 F with a 413. That set up in a A body with two four barrels sticking out of the hood, three feet apart, gets a lot of attention.
Neverending...I Own an 06' f150 with that 3 valve triton motor. spark plugs? Forget it.. 1 broke 6 out of 8,, 3/8 nano impact hot engine extraction. coil on plugs are like light bulbs- Changed them all. Gets worse- VCT solenoids go out.....Cam Phasers replaced ALONG for the ride I removed front Cover and replaced both chain tensioners and Guides They attach the Fuel Pump driver module above the spare tire to the frame.....salt and Debris kills them, (Ford smart) Just did Both side upper/lower Control arms and coil over struts.. Next and Hopefully done is exhaust manifold gaskets
