People ask about storing equipment all the time. Here's what works for me.

I like having everything put away nicely when not in use and also like having all the equipment on the trailer so if I need repower the load, I can just rent any tractor and not worry about transferring anything other than personal belongings.

Tarps go on the deck. They don't stay rolled up very long and in the winter I can't possibly roll them up tight enough to fit into a box. I run a chain across them and lock the binder handle if I leave them for any length of time. [IMG]

Dunage. Laying it across landing gear braces looks cheesy and isn't always welcomed by the DOT. This is a cheap and tidy solution. [IMG]

Belts stay rolled up tight in two Rubbermaid containers. 13-14 per box. [IMG][IMG]

Rubbermaid containers work for everything else as well. [IMG][IMG]

Chains and binders stay in the boxes as well. This way they don't pick up snow and ice and freeze into one big block in a cab guard tray. Near the ends/ near the mounting brackets. [IMG][IMG]

Not to hijack your thread, FLB-

I've got several dozen job offers atm.
I've whittled it down to 2-3.
    It alternates tanker/flatbed.

Sitting on the tanker side for the next few hours. Guarantee my mind will change again in 12 hours, until it comes to the day I've gotta book the plane ticket out to the terminal for orientation.

Both great jobs, it's a toss up; and my decision changes on an hourly basis.

    Oh well.
Good pics, FLB- organization is key to being in business, and you've sure as hell got that down.

EDIT-Thank you, I realize this is not a bad problem to have.

    Go with the tanker.

Flatbedders are drawn to the open trailer. Nothing wrong with being a tanker yanker, but it's on the other end of the spectrum.

FLB, I appreciate the pics. I always find myself looking at other drivers' setups.
