FLC did you manage to sort out the Jakes on that beauty?? A Brute like that should have Jakes. If not I think we should make work of that this year. I will have to make a plan to get those pins over to you, ASAP.

hey bud if you could it would be tottally awesome, id have them off the engine the same day i get the pins from you lol, to start breaking them down and getting them fixed i cant stand being with out jakes plus everyone throwing them around me sucks lol..
ive had no luck down here in parts houses even finding the pins nonetheless anyone with used parts wanting to part with them off a complete engine it just sucks i cant get them easy, no part number either. I would pay you for them if you can find them bud.im not i n a hurry to rush you for them but when they do come up let me know i got you covered bud.
well yesterday i officially cleaned and painted side of frame and straps as well all semi flat black, and mounted and measured tank on passs side for install it is not mounted evenly and perfect. Now as you will see in my other thread im posting regarding help with fuel return line problem to see if i can get it running off the new tank so i can pull of the driver side soon.Worthken Thanks this. -
well i got some what diverted as i had been working on my oldmans IHC eagle i was able to come up on what appear ot be newer coronado type battery boxes or storage boxes they are like new polished and identical im like super happy as i will be cutting them down to the size i need instead of making 2 boxes from 1 as this will work alot easier with less fabricating i was able to score these today while trading an old 28' storage pub trialer i had no use for it anymore.
i will be selling the international box if anyone is intrested its like new with no dents or cracks. i will post pics of the new boxes they look awesome a little polishing should be just right. I actually picked up a set of doors off a 2004 classic so thati can pull my old ratty doors off and add some newer modernized doors with new rubber and hinges as well as gaining the pass side sight window woot woot...and now power both windows. I will be pulling the mirrors off doors and on the cab i wish i had the big $$ for the fat mirror brackets or the newer pete style brackets. Or i was thinking of fabricating some fat boy pipe brackets and having them powdercoated black to match truck. -
I was looking for a set of Crapanado boxes. It hurts to hear you're gonna chop 'em up.
-
i know it hurt even more when i remembered i had pulled the ihc box of my oldmans truck.....now i have to install it back on truck.
These boxes are 46" wide which is to much for me they will chopped down to 30-32" you should see these things brand new, luckily i got them on a trade cause these boxes down here in miami are a hot comodity they sell for $500-$600 for a used box and dont ask for just the lid lol... I traded an old 79' 29' swing door single axle pub trailer for it i think it was a good deal dam pub trailer was infested with MITES>>> and i got a bostrom used black leather air ride seat in deal to...
