Rather than do a L/P deal, why don't you go to someplace like Lone Mountain and lease/purchase one of their trucks? Low down payments, and your choice of carriers is a far better way to go. If Malone comes up with a reason to fire you two years into a three year lease, you'll be crying they took your truck away.

If you're going to respond to this post by saying you don't have the $4k to put down on a LM truck, you aren't ready to be a business owner. If you can't save more money than you spend without the monkey on the back that a small business is, you WON'T do it when you have that revenue (notice I didn't say profit) coming in.
