That's possible if you are talking about one truck. I used to give all of my drivers cash every week when they left for fuel and other expenses. That was before I spent $30,000 in legal fees defending myself with the department of homeland security and the SEC for suspicion of money laundering.

I even had several people, including the president of my bank, warning me that it was going to happen, but I blew them off and had to learn the hard way.

Large cash transactions tend to make people in those areas really paranoid, I'm not sure but I think it may be $10,000 at 1 time, it used to be $7,000 . If you went past that amount, it was an invitation for lots of legal wrangling.

You're absolutely right, the number is $10,000 per transaction. When you have a dozen or so trucks, each running 3000-3500 miles per week, you easily exceed that number every week in expense monies.
