Fleet Owners... Dash Cams?

Not a fleet owner, just my own one truck and trailer. I just don't think a warehouse worker deserves part of the company just because he throws boxes in an Amazon warehouse. You want to stick your neck out and start a company, then you get to dictate how the money is made, and where it goes. You also get to dictate how fast your drivers drive.

 

I was just looking at pro athletes wanting to dictate to the owners who pay them a hundred million plus to "play". Now I'm going to tell you what I will do. Straight talk I would say go ahead and leave. Leave my money on the table as you go. It is something else nowadays. Yes I do need your help to be successful but you want to dictate to me. You can always start your business & I can hire someone else. I only know one God who makes the world go round.

 

i agree, but everything is negotiable, fleet owners make the rules, drivers decide if they want to put up with them rules or go somewhere else, if a fleet owner has to put dash cams in because he doesnt trust his drivers what does that say about his fleet, you get what you pay for.

 

It’s not always about not trusting the driver, rather capturing what some idiot does to keep the driver and the company out of trouble.

 

If I were an owner/op or company I'd definitely install dash cams, but ONLY ones pointing outside the cab. Most importantly a forward facing one.
