In two weeks? Floating the gears? Funny.

Now if it was a broken gear i'd think differently.....

I usually only use the clutch to get the truck rolling.Occasionally, I'll miss a gear and have to use the clutch. Most times I just float them. But when you first start out learning to drive, use the double clutch method until you get a feel for your truck.

Well we had a meeting with safety at the indy terminal over the backing accident ... I told safety the whole story on how this happened and guess what ... I got assigned 60 additional training hours with the same trainer ... wtf ... :biggrin_2556:

When I an done with training I understand that I will be asked to "grade" the trainer ... :biggrin_25523: Like I can expect them to really listen to what I think after what has happened so far!

These laws are for Ga overdrive not level city driving, downshifting burns unnecessary fuel and causes more wear and tear on the drive train

I float for 99% of the time but a couple times a week I DC it to keep it fresh in my mind.
