Nope I have seen them and the shaft wear, but not break to where the brake will not hold the shaft. I have seen the friction material gone, as well as too much grease keep the break from holding. Oil field or not they would be some runn oft drivers if I had any say. No sense in just beating the piss out of a truck

My mind is slightly blown, honestly, the two old farts that taught me everything I know about trucks both told me many times not to burry the clutch going down the road because it will sheer the tabs off, and they both showed me different times of that certain case. Oh well, different people different experience I guess
