If you read through some of the CSA infractions they hire just about anyone as I found one that they got for driver not being able to understand the english language well enough to communicate to officers.

What do you expect from a South Florida outfit?123456 Thanks this.

Problebly got trained at a school I have heard about down there that gives students answers to the test then had a spanish speaking person at the DMV forgetting that one little requirment about having to be able to understand english enough to be able to communicate with all officals.

In Florida, they give the CDL written test in Spanish.

Ah gotta love that, was unaware FL did that, explains a lot why I see ppl driving down a major road in landscape trucks actually driving slow enough to get tickets for impeeding traffic doing km/h and why I am starting to see dual signs with mph and kmh on them. Figured out they were doing km/h when I got stuck behind one on a 2 lane hwy.

I believe the test is given in 27 languages all through the US! Kind of makes you go HMMMMmmmm.....!!!!!

Seen my old man get burned when dealing with anyone from South Florida and we're Hispanics ourselves. Don't care for any carrier out of there. Nothing but shoe string operations trying to make some money before DOT shuts them down.
By the way anyone remember the "English only" signs posted at the fuel islands up and down 95 in the late 90s early 2000s? -
I though you had to speak fluent English to have a cdl
-
Some years ago and maybe still, they had some shady cdl schools and some people working at the dmv that you could pay and receive a cdl.
