I've read on here a few times that freight and, in turn, hiring slow down in Florida in the winter months and was wondering why this is the case. Thanks!

Tourist season! With the way Florida's taxes have escalated snow birds now stay in Al and MS when they used to make up the difference during the tourist months.

Further except for a couple of months for produce(strawberries, and melons) Florida always sux. Just sux more in the winter. There is little to no manufacturing in the state so out bound freight is probably 30% of what in bound is annually.

    JP11283 Thanks this.
