Florida would be about the last state I'd ride in with, or without a helmet..

my state (RI) got rid of the helmet law for the operator, after he/she does 1 year of riding..

but the passenger MUST always have a helmet on.

i think where you are in MA..? both must still wear a helmet.

    i always wore mine.

i always felt that it should be a choice, rather than a law. debates on both sides from the insurance companies, hospitals, and the people.

Not to mention said “cage” has additional supplemental safety systems (airbags, side impact beams, roof protection, collapsible steering,etc.).

He wouldn't wear a helmet. He died of head injuries. His passenger wouldn't wear a helmet. She also died of head injuries. Do I have the facts right?
Seems like a reasonable outcome and one they might change if they had it to do over again. No "do-overs" on motorcycles.
