Dear Fellow Members,
I saw some bad reports about a couple of companies who hire in FL. I want to do some prevention so new drivers go in knowing whats ahead. So you live in FL and are new at this. You know you need to go out and get the experience but with who??? Let's assume you go to a truck driving school where it is 160 hours. Roadmaster and TDI are examples. Here are companies that hire in FL:
JBS Carriers: Reefer, need to be 23
Roehl: Dry, and need to live orlando and north
Swift: Dry, need to be 23.
Squire: Dry, part of Knight
Trans Am: They push the lease and need to be 21
Stevens: Need to be 25
Werner: No set age as far as I know
Covenant: Team
CRST: Team
Armellini: They haul flowers you need to be 23 plus you team
May: Certain hiring areas which is Orlando and north
PAM: Certain hiring areas
WSE: Certain hiring areas
US Xpress: Team
Western Express: Need to be 22
Wiley Sanders:
KLLM:
Notes: If you have experience with any of these companies and want to share your experience please join in.

You can add Wiley Sanders and JCT to the list. Wiley is a good place for a new driver to start. Very forgiving company and very few hassles. JCT is lease only but hiring from Florida.
davetrucker and The Challenger Thank this. -
JCT is not hiring new drivers to lease trucks. I believe they require 18 months. I added Wiley Sanders and KLLM.
C,
I am trying to help potential drivers look for good companies that hire new drivers out of FL. Superservice used to hire new when they were LCT but they do not anymore.
Windy Hill Foliage does but they require a contract to be signed.
KHbigounce Thanks this. -
where your post in the Politics Section? if so they no longer count towards your post count.....

Two things, PLEASE don't post the same question in several parts on the forum.
The second thing is this, it looks like you have several posts in the political section, we have changed the political forum just a little. It's now unmoderated and post made int here do not increase your post count.... when we made those changes everyone who has posted in there lost post count.
I hope that answers your question, if you still need help feel free to PM me. -
i had 100's of post in the Politics Section and now i cant even post there now i need 20 somethings not right about that!

Hey KH....Not to be a smart azzhat....But have you given any thought to enlisting in the military?
You can get the training and experience you need plus you get bennies for signing on the bottom line..... -
The main reason I made this was so members do not get conned into leasing. Why should they pressured into leasing with no experience out of the gate?? BCSO, you inspired me to do this.
WCP,
PM sent explaining why I would not be an ideal candidate for our military.
