Well got another 7.7 mpg on this load. On another note related to this thread someone stole the back end of my flow below (see pic). They was in the process of the other part and must had been seen. Two bolts was almost taken off and these bolts just don't come off, they have red loctite and a lock nut on it. Maybe could come barely lose but that would be it. If I had time I would go back through my video and find out who it was but not worth my time at this point being it happen in Vegas. When I park it was on and when I did my pre trip it was gone. I went ahead and tried to tighten the rest of them and all was tight minus the two almost off on the other panel.

I hate thieves with a passion. I'm wholeheartedly in favor of taking the right hand of anyone convicted of theft.

So finished off the load from UT to AZ and was 7.5. It was 36k and drove 75 plus over half the time.

Taking a load now gonna have to go cruise speed limit from Tx to NJ and has 5 drops at 12,100 lbs. I am not sure I will hit the times on this one but think they will be a little flexible at the second and 3rd stop. If not they might have to just figure it out.

anyone know how I40 is going from TX going over towards NY. Hoping I do t run into any bad weather. Have to be there Thursday.

Welp that TX to NJ/NY was a fast run. I ran 75 almost the whole trip unless speed limit changed. I got 7.5 MPG on that load and I don't think I slowed down until I got the first two stops done. Not to bad for winter time either ran into the ice storm for a few extra hours and a little bit of wind.

Got a cheap load from NY to go back home. Took the first light load I could find and honestly did not try at all to get a better rate. I have been out over 3 weeks now and need to get back home. I normally only stay out for no more than 10 days so this was maybe a record for me being out.

That is good to know from someone else. I did get my flow below part put on yesterday so should be good to go on next trip. I got a measly 6.8 MPG on the trip back to MO and I went through another snow storm and also lots and lots of wind.

I am gonna try and take truck to the shop in the next few days as well. I have been getting a code about fuel issue and thinking it is from Washing the engine. I did not want them to do it but the truck was a mess and had way too much salt on it so just said to do it. Need to get Windshield wiper motor placement fixed as well. They put the new one on and wipers are all out of alignment so need that fixed. Also noticed that my defrost and floor is not switching like it should. I had thought I had an issue when I first got the truck but didn't use it enough to really figure it out. When my windshield wiper motor went out I noticed it was not blowing very good on windshield and finally figured it out. I am a little slow on that I guess and never gave it much thought.

Taking the rest of this week off and have to go get DOT Med Card renewed tomorrow. This will be the first time I have went since being diagnosed with diabetes 2. I believe I need to take my A1C reports up and that is it. Will find out tomorrow if I am healthy enough to get a year one. Should be fine I believe.

Most of the trucks do the same triangle, same customers, same weights, ect every week. Easy to track everything.
Haven't had any problems yet, both around 70K mile now.
Just the accident with one, got the parts in so it's finished now. Was starting to look like a Chicago Volvo, had to keep adding more bungee's and zip
ties to hold it together. LOL

I don't care how careful you are, or how you run. One or two days of nice hurricane force head / crosswinds is going to cut into your MPG.

Blackie II was at 7.8 for the two years I ran him. That was many times living the dream, 9+ then..........oh no Mister Bill ...... epic F up wind.

Blackie III with the most improved aeros and 3.42 gears seems to be at 8.5 to 8.7 @ 65mph so far.

Yeah we cannot have that look. HA HA made me laugh for sure. I have been all over the place and just getting better information on places I normally do not run.I normally do a little research about 3 months a year to try and find some more regular options. Seems to help make things go smoother when something dries up I have a few different options to chase.
