Never had Volvo's until i bought out a company here in 2017. 2 or 3 that that they had LP'd to the drivers and 3 company 2015's. Terrible trucks, hated them. Traded those for 3 more 18's. Still hated them. Traded those for 2 more 23's. Been happy with these so far. All the FL's are slightly above in mpg, a lot less overall repairs.

When all the BS started in early 2020 I almost pulled the trigger on a couple 780's? 760's? The one's with the big sleepers. $133K each. Autos.

I just couldn't like the interiors compared to the freight snakers.

And I had a sensor issue with the original Blackie once, and held breath praying I'd make it to the only service center in forever before it derated all the way.

    So that was that.

I loved our Volvo dealer in Phoenix though. Vanguard. Awesome guys.

Freightliner of Arizona for the Criminally Insane couldn't even carry those guys socket set.

The dealer here was the worst on Volvo. Think that's what i hated most about them. I order trucks spec'd for me. When they came in they weren't what i ordered. They refused to give the same trade in if i waited another 6-8 months, so i took them anyway. This time another dealer stepped up and gave me exactly what i spec'd. Then found out there was a good dealer (at least the shop) right next to a customer we pick up at 9 times a week.
Just had an O/O at Velocity in Tolleson for 5 days for a ABS wheel sensor. Don't have the part, don't down the truck.

I even got a letter from them saying they owed me $16 and change, do I want the money or just keep it for credit later.

Don't even F with freightliner unless it's a 911 emergency. Fyda and the one in Springfield, IL exempted, they are good.

    Siinman Thanks this.

W.W.Williams also partners with Stewart and Stevenson.

You will never go to another freightliner dealer again.

They do, and accept factory warranty work.

Have an account with WW Williams. It was an O/O, he just went to velocity. As soon as he called i told him he was screwed. Of course they said the rotor, caliper had to be replaced. Caliper needed a seal kit ($15), rotor was in spec.
FL in Harrisburg PA, stay far away.

Well gonna take a load to FL from MO and will see how that goes. It picks up Sunday and then have a load going to AL. Florida load will be a little over 27K and AL load will be 40K so will get some more information going down south. I have not been that way in a while so will be interesting to see how well this one does.

As a lot of you know I like to play at the Casinos and last trip out 3 weeks I lost my butt off. Thought I would go out last night at the Ameristar in KCMO and hit a big one. This one was the biggest one I have ever hit at 59K. Been a great week my Chiefs won Super Bowl and now this! IMG_0687.JPG
