I noticed that big win was on a 10cent machine and only $5 per pull. Was pretty surprised as I never see those machines ever win. I hate slots but if I do play them it’s normal $1 machine $5 per pull or $5 and $25 per pull. Once I hit the first time and go up I always cash out though. Haha.
Black Jack is pretty fun, roulette can be. Only played craps once and it was a freakin blast but then I forgot how the couple yrs between trips and the tables are always too busy to teach a newb.

That is misleading on the 10cent machine. It is in the high limit area and min $5 pull and goes up to I believe $500 or a 1000 a pull. That 10 cent is the min and useably play that or the 3rd on which is 12.50 a pull for min bet. I hardly ever play in the regular area so min bets are 5 or 7.50 on most of those.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.

When the instructions on the screen take up more space than the game, I move on to something simpler.
My usual casino visit is with my bride. I sit at the roulette table and gradually build a stack, then she gives it back via the $1 slots. I usually manage to hold back enough for the buffet.Siinman, ducnut and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
Buy another Volvo so i can use it. Volvo engineering at it's best. Harness in the trans that has to be dropped to replace it. That's why i always keep a spare truck or two around.Siinman Thanks this.

My ex was the GM at the Pioneer in the early 80's. Wasn't allowed to do any gaming there. Elardi's even gave me crap if I ate one of the cheap breakfasts.Siinman and RedForeman Thank this.

Yeah I hate that set up myself. I think it is called the TCM Ribbon if I remember right. I had an issue with it on the rebuild on my last truck. Seems easy to mess up when putting things back together. If I was gonna buy another one I would order the I-Torque version now and may even go lift axle on it.ducnut Thanks this.

I never understood that stuff. When I went to the bank to deposit the check from my win the lady was an ex manager at one of the other casinos. She was thought I won it from the tables since slots rarely pay out that high.Midwest Trucker and ducnut Thank this.

I believe, Joel said the ROI on the pusher was ~5yrs for a solo driver and it was ~$20K(?). Is that correct? Seems ridiculous. Still an intriguing concept, though.Siinman Thanks this.

I not sure on total build cost. I have not got a full quote on it yet. Will most likely look into it next year and see what is happening. I run a lot more lighter stuff so it might pay off faster since it could save a lot of tires as well. Will do the math before pulling the trigger if it would be worth it or not.ducnut Thanks this.

The only thing about tire wear is you’ll be putting ALL the power to one axle. I had a Volvo with the automatic tag and duals. The drives were 100K miles and done. Super singles might do better. Not sure.
Siinman Thanks this.
