No but I do have the same thing that I can activate on the new truck. I don't try that hard on MPG's in the truck to maximize it right now. If I did I could do probably another .5 overall. I set the cruise and let it do its thing 70 percent of the time. If I am in a good area and the weather is right I will use the pedal and really watch the instant fuel mpg and do better.

I am really thinking hard about it right now. Been doing a lot of research this year. Really watching some of the new stuff the volvo guys have out right now. Very impressive results so far on what they have been doing. I really am interested what they do with it after it gets going for a little over a year from now. I think they may make some more changes that will make it worth while to upgrade early.

Also really thinking about just buying a new trailer as well with lift axle. Sent out a couple emails today to see what kind of options right now. I would guess they will come down just a tad next year if it stays like it is now.

As I’ve mentioned to others, join the 9+ page and follow Joel, both on FB. Tons of great info to be read. Joel’s current lifetime is 10.0mpg (Volvo). Henry Albert (Freightliner) and Jamie Hagen (Mack) are two others worth paying attention to, as they’re both double-digit mpg guys, too.

Well this load from MS to MO was 44K and ended up with 7.7 MPG's for the trip. I drove mostly 65 and went through all the little mountain area in AR so not to bad. Overall trip ended up being 8.3 MPG all in so was pretty impressed on that.

Last trip out I was getting a check light and could not figure out what it was since it was only on hard pulls. Well yesterday one of the hoses popped off because of a loose clamp on the driver side. I lost use of the turbo and managed to make it a coupe miles down the road barely using the pedal. Fixed the issue and pretty sure that was what the check light was. When pulling this load up and down AR I never had an issue.

I am gonna take truck to shop tomorrow and have them do an early PM service since it was sucking air. Afraid that it could do some damage and not worth the chance of causing major damage. I was 15K from PM service anyways and also need to have a few things fixed. The Wiper motor was replaced a month or so back and they placed it where the wipers are out of wack . Also I believe I have a very small pinhole in a hose and only lose radiator fluid when I am in mountain area or pulling hard. Also I believe my I have a problem with my Heat switching from top to bottom and gonna have them check that out.

No I just talked to them and they are gonna see if they can get something else. Seems Utility does not want to give them up to a used trailer I guess. It has been paid for since the end of Dec and I am getting pretty pissy with them.

It’ll be alright. Just limit what you follow or join. Use an alias, if you need to hide.
