Pepsi has lift axles on their trailers around here. Looks like they lift up about 6in or so

Yeah wish I had ordered my trailer with it. Really should had got that Great Dane I looked at when I was looking to buy. Was a steal compared to these prices.

If I was you, I'd call the maker and ask them. They'll tell you which part number gets you there, then take that to the trailer dealer of your choice and demand it on your build.

Downside is, if they aren't already buying train loads of them, it will delay your build delivery substantially.

I may or may not have spent too much time on the Hendrickson website learning about various innovations, only to take it to the dealer who starts with, "if that's what you really want...."

I'm convinced half of those innovations are just press fluff that only makes it to show trailers at MATS if it ever exists in the first place.

Ha Ha I would bet you are right. It turns out that unless you have shocks on the trailer you cannot add this on either. Not sure why that is the case but gonna guess that helps the scuffing a little so it doesn't kill the tires right away. I also did the samething on the website and also had the dealer do the homework on it as well.

You have the same suspension I do, shocks are built into the air springs. Makes them a little pricey, but worth it IMO in reduced parts hanging when it's time. Any restriction on the axle lift kit is likely due to travel limitations of those integral shocks as @rollin coal mentioned a while back if I recall.

Yes the travel is only gonna be 2" if I do it. If I had different beams it would had been 3". That two inches still scares me a little bit.

Well finally found something worth going out for Monday. Going to MA from MO with around 10K on the load. So hopefully will have a decent drive up that way. It is a tight schedule on it so will need to be doing speed limit the whole way there. Will be a good little test since I have been in that quit often with around the same weight.
