    I’d say it’s a good 6” off the ground.

Yeah the black trailer looks  but hey it's a trailer so who cares? I know somebody that says when you get a brand new one his favorite thing is to walk around it smacking it with a hammer to give it character anyways (before the drivers dol) lol

Trailers look good great to me with your truck. Just harder to keep clean in my eyes.

Everything old is new again. Found this pic on the Internet of an old single drive with a lift axle. People probably laughed at the owner back in the day for trying something new, same as they do now when someone steps outside the box.

No out you know they did. With the new 6x2 on Volvo it works great now. They have it set up to put the correct weight on the front and back axle when lifted. I would not mind one but would need to keep the truck longer to make it worth the extra cost.

Well I did a light load from KCMO to Avondale AZ with 13K in the box and lots of wind. Ended up with 8.1 MPG's after basically getting 7.4 MPG's from MO to NM. Can tell winter has made a bigger difference in fuel MPG's and have not been trying to get anything decent either.

Last 30 days have averaged 8.16 MPG's on 11K miles and 8.04 life time on 178K.

That's actually good. I've had a 25K load from WI to AZ last year and I didn't even get 6 MPG, because of the wind. In NM it was like 50-60 mph strong.

It was a pretty windy most of the time. I was really surprised I ended up getting back to 8 MPG's to be honest. I figured it would be high 7's at best the way the wind blew.

Will see how this new load I get goes as it is 40K and goes to MA from AZ. Should be ####ty based off of my experience. Ha ha
