After gettin the trailer fixed I am for sure it was causing me some problems with MPG's. This last trip was a 6 drop load at 16K going to OK and South TX doing 67 mph. I got 9.00 mpgs for that load. Than got a load to OK that was light 7K load and got 9.4 MPG's doing 62 MPH. Ended up dead heading home after that at 9.7 MPG's doing 70 MPH.
I had been thinking something was wrong and noticed I was in the low 8's most of the time on the good end. Normally I am in the high end of the 8's on average.

They’re meant to breakaway before your door crumples. Definitely something was wrong with the dock. Normally all of them break at the same time and the door falls to the ground, so you kind of got lucky.Siinman and gentleroger Thank this.

It would had been just as easy to pick it up and put it in the trailer I think. Ha Ha At least I would had figured it out before I got out in the way of every truck trying to shut the door. That area did not have a lot of room to work on it while traffic was going out of Walmart. I have since went to another Walmart dock and checked it out. I did not see anything at that one that could have caused it. Someone must have left something in the door area is my guess and I hit it perfectly.

That's a different Oxbow. I think they are out of Washington somewhere. I've seen them haul really big stuff.Siinman Thanks this.

Yeah it was some really big stuff. I have seen them parked at that place a couple times. I didn't think it was you but thought I would ask to make sure. Glad I didn't leave a note on the window! Ha haOxbow Thanks this.

One of my old friends that worked with me years ago found one of the stores we made years ago. We made all the displays in the store.

So was looking at what miles and information on the truck now. And seen that I have a 5 percent idle time over the life of the truck. Truck has a little over 425K miles on it now and life time MPG is 8.2.
When I first bought and spec'd the truck I figured I would get 8-8.5 for lifetime of the truck. Not too bad considering the last two years or so I have ran 67-70 and hardly anything slower. If I would had ran slower could had done better but less loads since most my stuff is very tight deadlines.
Here is a screen shot of the last 90 days.86scotty Thanks this. -
Do you plan on keeping the truck for the foreseeable future or going out and buying a new one?
Siinman Thanks this. -
I am still debating on this one. I really want to buy another new one and spec it better, but not sure if I am gonna do it before this one is out of warranty or not. My gut tells me to buy new next year and so that is most likely what I will end up doing.BoostedTeg Thanks this.
