Flying J files for chapter 11 protection

I wonder if that "hot fuel" ordeal was part of the problem?

 

I don't know how widespread it is. but even though the news said that they would not close any stores, last night at midnight, the ones in Indiana shut down. My Uncle woke up this morning to find the store shut down where he was parked. and found the others closed also.
Any one have any more Info on this?????

Can you imagine the lines for fuel if pilots and Loves follow suit!

 

Less freight,..reduced miles,....Fewer drivers on the road,...It only makes sense that the truck stops will start to have a tough time now too,......And to think,..Things haven't even started to get bad yet,...Good gawd I hope I'm wrong...

 

I agree. The customer service at the Flying Hook is some of the worst. The buffet and menus are nothing special either. Do like the shower.

Friend spent the night in Oklahoma City and it was open all night and this morning.

 

At least Flying J's TAB bank is paying 2% on my Money Market. That's way more than the local banks by my home. and FDIC insured

 

I hope they are open, I have enough of a hard time getting parking spots as it is.

 

Are we gone a have to pay for showers and parking space now ???
