I went to that J at 0300 a few days ago and I think every fuel pump had a truck parked there with nobody fueling. Considering it was 0300, I figured I could scale, pull around to a fuel pump to get the ticket, and split but ended up being stuck there 1/2 hour+. Went inside and tried one of those Canadian-style breakfast sandwich which is a tasteless pile of sh. That place is so bad. Never again if I can avoid it.
If you're rolling westbound the QT in Buckeye is a much better bet. The Southwest wrap is really good and much better than that garbage at the J.

0138. June 17th. No corndogs again, just 75 NASTY breakfast sandwiches.
Bonus this morning though. Three grey hound size buses of illegals roaming the store, drivers can't even get a cup of coffee :(.

The Mexicans will eat the breakfast sandwiches that we Americans refuse to eat.

Your right, Flying J was a really good T/S back in the day. Pilot was a bottomfeeder T/S and still cannot believe they bought Flying J. But I guess when the owner was killed, the kids wanted nothing to do with the business, show me the money.

I guess I have some catching up to do on the Flying J.

Regarding the three busloads of illegals, they can have em.

I forgot about the bankruptcy, the rest I did not know about. I guess that's what I remember that when the founder Jay was killed that's when his daughter sold it. This is a very informative story thanks for sharing, I learned something today.
