A new[er] truck stop. I-44, exit #72
* BEWARE - the [signed] entry/exit in front of the pumps needs to be made Exit Only with "yellow hazard paint" on the right side as you're exiting for the interstate. If you exit and stay to right to make your right turn out (leaving room for others to enter) You may find yourself in a bad situation. The street is narrow with very deep drop off to the left of your steer, and very deep drainage ditch to your blind right for your trailer to drop into.
- Nice layout for parking and fueling *
- Labeled J but has a "Pilot" feel
- Larger main store area. Not as crowded as most.
- Nice, large showers
- Nice driver lounge
- Nice laundry room with TV
- Good free and paid wifi network
- Wendy's & Cinnabon
- Friendly cashiers and management
It's a tow truck operator's dream as it currently is as of early January 2017, given all the lesser experienced drivers out here. And in the dark???? This will be a problem for even some well-seasoned drivers if they aren't playing very close attention as they are approaching the turn.

I went out the driveway behind the pumps. Had to stay all the way to the left to keep my trailer out of the ditch.

About time someone built something decent on that side of town.
The Loves is OK but the TA in Strafford is a ####hole. -
I have a buddy that works for CTI. They have a yard right down the road from the J. He has complained more than once about having to wait for a driver to get towed out of the ditch.

Went in there few days ago. They are working on making the 90 degree exit corners, more like 45's. Should be done by now. I like that place. I'm still trying to figure out how PFJ corporate decides they are going to brand a new location, either Pilot or Flying J. I think they flip a coin.

I fuel there often
Pretty good J -
Slept there a few weeks ago ... seems like a new place. Hasn't been enough time to demolish it yet. Not to worry shouldn't take much longer
drvrtech77 and Rusty Trawler Thank this. -
Yea Prime will soon take it over as their new long term lot lol

Why can't people design shippers or truckstops properly? I'm always wondering what were people thinking.
