It is possible you just so happened onto one of the 3 or 5 things from the menu that was tolerable.

lol I hear the water is good.

Well for one, not many national restaurants have sit down restaurants. Now its more and more fast food like Taco Bell, Arbys...etc.

As far as the sit down stuff...most of the truck stops simply make food that is already made, just needs to be mixed and heated together...all of it comes out of a box, can or bag of some kind. Nothing fresh. Hence its high in sodium and bad for ya...or even more fun...they could fry your choice of food in a vat of oil.

Now, Im not the best one to be complaining about this since Im a hefty guy myself, but I know what kills people, lol. I was listening to the Dave Nemo show and they had a health segment and they mentioned how we have some of the highest cancer rates in the world, compared to many less developed countries. Why? Well our food has so much stuff injected during its life (beef, chicken, milk...etc.) or as it grows (wheat, corn...etc that has been molecularly modified), to using vast chemicals and preservatives to keep the food longer than 234 years as it sits in the sun in Vegas during the summer.
Heck, they just found a ton of drugs in our drinking water! And no, bottled water isn't a better choice as it isn't even quality controlled or monitored during its manuf. process by the gov. no standards.

At a small truckstop west of Detriot, I went into the restroom to wash my hands, a noticed a guy come out of the stall with a bag of lunch in one hand and a paper in the other, right out the door to his truck. Nothing really to do with Flying J, but any place with a sald or food bar....I get my own stuff and make it in the truck, well at least I used too, my OTR days are over.

they were saying on the radio the other ay that the drug traces found included prescription, narcotics, sex horomones and the likes. so would it be safe to say, watch out for Gay Water?

no wonder there are so many birth defects in the world today. when they say its n the water, i guess they was right.

Save yourself for the one in Brookville, it's off exit 78 it's a huge difference from the one in Mill Hall and there's better parking too. You can get a spot in there at 11 at night.

I am so sick of the "J" food. Same #### every day, every place. Corporate dictates what the buffet is every day for all the J's.

The service has gone downhill and they have gotten really cheap. If you order french toast, you have to specifically request texas toast, otherwise they bring you tiny pieces of italian bread cooked in the french toast batter... But for the same price, of course.
