I was at Eagle doing the Hickory, NC deliveries for over a year. 401k, home nightly(I ran nights and took days off, though), 72k+ a year with around a 79k cap, all weekend off, health/dental for whole family...
Something nobody talks about: Driver saturation is hitting fuel delivery since so many van companies are shutting down; if you want the job you might want to jump on it asap.. Fuel routes are slim per-region
Another way in post-saturation is probably mega tanker just to have the experience for the app at a better company; waiting lists are inbound, though -

Hello
I’m a newbie and wanted to work for Eagle Transport as it is the only Company I can find that trains newbies and will put them in a tanker right away.
The only thing I was worried about is that I noticed some reviews say that some of your mistakes that should be incidents are put down as accidents and therefore makes it hard for you to work anywhere else.
It’s really difficult to figure out where to start as I don’t wanna get stuck with a bad company. Any thoughts would be helpful thanks guys. -
If you’re worried about how mistakes are charged to you, then, tankers probably aren’t for you. Mistakes simply can’t happen. Mistakes in the tanker world kill people.
Rugerfan, CalculatedRisk, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this. -

Always always always double and triple check that you’re putting the right product in the right compartment or tank. No such thing as too slow.
