It’s a 2004 ISX cm870.Heard the noise when I went to park for the night and crawled under the truck to figure out what the source was.

I did a whole new clutch, flywheel, throwout, everything on my 13 spd. It sounded the same. I also took a video like you, thinking something was wrong. Ofcourse I can’t tell exactly how loud yours is. But if it’s only loud with the cover off, it’s probably normal.

Did you take the inspection cover off? Or has it fallen off, and is missing. And that’s why you’re hearing the noise.

Most likely it isn’t the flywheel, unless you took it off and beat it with a hammer and then took a drill to it.

The harmonic damper is the cause more times than not. These should be replace between 500k and 750k. They cost around $600 and take time to install.

I’ve replaced a few and have had them replaced many times.
