A Driver can hang out in the sleeper for 10 consecutive hours and not sleep one single minute. Then he can jump behind the wheel and drive for 11 hours. How exactly are the HOS and ELDs making said Driver, or the people he shares the road with safer?

This just follows suit. CRST is a beacon of safety, so this decision is intelligent. The FMCSA is just continuing their long streak of smart decisions. What could possibly go wrong?

So you are suggesting that CRST drivers are much safer once they have returned to their home DMV to turn their passing scores into a hard copy license than they were the day before when they were just on their way to their home DMV to turn their passing scores into a hard copy license?
