I'm really surprised that you're not getting a call back from a company that advertises at your school. I remember that my school vetted anyone that advertised or visited the school. You're absolutely correct, why advertise knowing that everyone won't have experience. I'd make a visit to whomever at the school is responsible for "marketing" their students and pose the question to them. Additionally, I'd make either a follow-up phone call or personal visit to the companys.

This position involves driving a tractor-trailer for the over-the-road delivery of freight to two or more locations. Dedicated drivers are primarily assigned to run freight for one dedicated customer and may be assigned to an operation based at a specific customer location.
Dedicated OTR Truck Drivers are typically on the road from 1-2 days at a time.
