If the truck never had fog lights and you added them and the wiring...... you need to go to a volvo dealership and ask them to enable them in your LCM via VCADS.

My suggestion would be to find a deal who will bill by the half hour rather then by the hour because it takes 10 minutes to do. I've done it myself.

Revisiting this. Mine both went out the other night. I can't imagine it was bulbs in both.

Now I've got the annoying 'check' message I have to clear every time I start the truck. No blown fuses, though from above I guess I don't have any just for the fogs.

Anyone? Since Volvo has an OBDII port anyone know if I can clear the code at least with a scan tool without going to a dealer?

    Thanks

Probably have a wiring issue. Message will likely not clear at all until the fault is fixed.

Update, simple fix. My plug just needed jiggling. The front bumper cover was removed at the shop recently and it's probably the first time that plug ever got bothered.

FYI, 3 bolts on each side will pull your whole lower bumper off a Volvo and both fogs are on one plug on the left side. This is if you have the plastic bumper. No idea about the chrome type.

Anyway, unplugged, shot both sides with electronics cleaner, plugged and unplugged a few times to clean the contacts, Zip tied back in place where it can't vibrate loose.

    All fixed.
