Just because they don't bother you, doesn't mean that they don't bother someone else. There are way too many drivers that think, well I'm OK with it, so it's good for all.Toomanybikes Thanks this.

You're not supposed to stare at the lights, shift your eyes to the lower right for a couple seconds.

As a rule I try not to drive at night.
And I'm sorry if my fog lights bother a few drivers.
Fog lights are low to the ground, and they tend to keep the light focused in a parallel plane very close to the ground. They are not high beams, and not even close to driving lamps.
But when I drive when it is dark I need to see well enough to be safe, period.
I've mentioned the kind of lights that I have equipped my older cars with.
I did that because the stock lights just were not good enough.
Most of the trucks I've driven have the same problem.
Mainly Volvo's, and I never used the fogs when I had the Cascadia or ProStar.S M D Thanks this. -
The problem isn't the lights, it is the inconsiderate ###### behind the wheel that refuses to turn them off when meeting oncoming traffic or overtaking another vehicle. No one really cares anymore, it's all me me me!!! That's MY parking spot!! MY fuel island!! MY girlfriend!! Can't we just get along?

Foglights? No need.

I tried to get the boss to order the new company Casadias with the LED headlamps. (He didn't listen.) The standard halogen lamps are pretty good but those are even better.

The ones in my truck came from a used truck parts seller on eBay. $600 for a used pair. Company reimbursed me for them. One has a few little scratches in the lense and the other a minor little crack at the bottom but considering Freightliner wants like $1600 a set new it's hardly a bother. Might be worth a shot if your company is cool about that stuff.

I wouldn't go to the trouble. It was kind of a one shot thing. He doesn't drive or know anything about trucks so I made a couple suggestions was all. He listened on the bunk heaters (money saver) and I advised him to stay away from the Prostars even though they were $10,000 cheaper than the Cascadia.
Good bargain you found though. -
Im sure there is a penske driver somewhere out there that will trade you his led lights for yours and 100$ lol.
But you can probably find a swit driver to give you his led lights and some money on top for yours hahah.
