What he's talking about is something the Navy uses. it's an after market that a lot of welding shops come up with: make a flat hinge (looks like a tuning fork) with holes drilled through them on the top of 2 pieces of flat iron add steps in between them. Then weld a straight piece to the side of the trailer with holes drilled in them in the end to match the hinges and add a step to this piece then mount the botton half to the top and put pins with a bolt through the holes and then add a latch to both top and bottom and your'e done! just flip the bottom up and the latch will hold it in the travel prosition!

Any GOOD welder can make anything! Draw a picture and they will make it! Stop by a welding shop with a blowup of the picture and let him do what he does.
kajidono Thanks this. -
I'm not interested in having one, I just need to know who makes them.

To me it looks like a rv folding step. Cost $110 to $250.

I have seen the folding ladders, I think Menards carries them and might of seen them a while back at Sears maybe. It is the articulating ladder that can be folded in 3 locations to either make a type of scaffling or folded in half to be used as double sided ladder. Might also check Lowes and Home Depot.

WHY are you asking me? I don't even know where I was yesterday.
-
OP: Why don't you go on line to all the trailer manufactures and see if they have them in inventory, Email the parts department or call them and ask. Heck they just might have one of their own design but as cheap as a lot of companies and even O/Os when it comes to add on or weight they just don't spec them on the trailer.
