    I'm with @Steel Tiger here. Wait till you are out on your own and working before investing. You might find you don't need one. Honestly, I'd think something like a skateboard would be a much better form of transportation for a trucker, and take up way less space in the truck. If you really have to go somewhere a long distance away from the truck, a cab would probably be safer anyways.

    That is what I would do. I had a Dahon, but never carried it along. My dad gave it to me. It fit in my car nicely.

    I'm just trying to think about how I'm going to get my exercise in. & I was always a bike kind of guy, never into skateboarding as much as bike. If I didn't WANT a new bike to ride the trails around my house right now, then I wouldn't buy one until I was in a company truck on my own.... But because I want a bike right now, I am looking into buying a bike that will be good for OTR but also will be fun to use until I graduate from school.
