I'm on 11R24.5s and I'm not overheight with a standard 40 foot container. The center of my deck is the highest point and it is 60" from the top of the deck to the ground, at that point. I usually load 40 footers about a foot from the rear. With a 4X4 under the back and a 2X4 under the front, they set level. With a full length pipe or beam, I use a 4X4 under the center, 2 4X4s stacked under the rear and a 2X4 stacked on top of a 4X4 under the front. If I need more dunnage I add another 4X4 with a stacked 2X4 halfway between the rear and center and a 4X4 with a 1X4 stacked between the center and front dunnage.

Actually, the wires are up under the back end, out of sight. Just got to look. They all use the same wiring harness.

Really? Next time I get hitched to a preload on the Rev.52's I'll have a look up under there.

With a brand new trailer I will always take a file and go over all the sharp edges of stake pockets. Tedious work but it helps.

    SHC and MJ1657 Thank this.

I keep a file in my tool bag. If im standing around waiting somewhere I get it out and file down any sharp spots I have from using chains.

    Semi Crazy Thanks this.

Preloading today at Nucor in Cofield I dropped my Rev.52 and remembered I wanted to find the plug Autocar metioned.
Autocar, I looked up under the back and found a plug. Hooked my strobe to it but it didn't have any power to it, could I wire it myself or would you reccomend a dealer?

They were on, Company requires you post trip the trailer your dropping so you can tell them if it has anything wrong, so the other driver's not ticketed for lazyness.

Dealer, that harness has a 10 year warranty. Cut it and goodbye warranty.
