Just found out that the move has been postponed until April.....so we can still get fuel and park there for now. After that they are turning Fontana into a school so we will not have access to it anymore.

Found out from the wonderful guy who cleans that the transfer is scheduled for the 4th.
Tried to scan our trip in last night and the kiosks have been disabled....so no kiosk and no scanner.......because of problems I've been having with those scanners I had dispatch make a note on my trip sheet and then I faxed it in today at the motel......will be calling payroll on Monday to make sure they got it because I am sick and tired of being kicked off accelerated pay because their equipment does not work!!!!!! -
musicgal...you can use any trucks stops that has transflo to scan your paperwork

I try to NEVER scan anything at any terminal. Those scanners are junk.
Pilot, Flying J, Love's, and a 'couple' TA's all have TransFlo. -
At least the truckstops keep up the maintenance on their kiosks, unlike swift. After all they consider us a bunch of unskilled workers, so they won't spend much on us. Even though we are their bread & butter!
-
I do use the truckstops, but we run from Bloomington to St. Louis and back so it was easy just to scan at Fontana after dropping our load.....especially when we end up sitting overnight or for our reset.

On the bright side, it's not the Trip Pack from the days of old.
When I was running OTR for the small fleet owner leased on with CRST Malone (who also use TransFlo), I kept an all-in-one scanner in my truck, and I had a Verizon mifi... Transflo Now is the program, and you have to call to get the fleet code for Transflo.. might not make it tempting to go out an sign up for a mifi plan, but if you can tether your phone, it's a pretty good way to go... let me scan and email anything else I needed to... kept me from having to stop at VanEx yards in order to turn in inspection reports from Level 2s and such. That alone made it worthwhile.
