Is anyone here familiar with Foodliner out of Chattanooga, Tennessee? I have an opportunity to work for them. I’ve been out of the drivers seat for a while and will be put through a training course. They offer a $1200 dollar a week guarantee and said that I should be home daily. The only thing I’m concerned about is they told me I’d be driving at night starting out and then I could eventually land a daytime shift. The reviews I’ve read are mixed but I’m just trying to get more information about them if anyone is familiar with them. Thanks

I'd take the job. You've been out of the drivers seat a while, so go for it and knock the rust off.
If the money isn't right, you'll be able to move on, but it should be ok if it's a guarantee.
If it doesn't work out, look at TransWood, since you'll then have tanker experience :

Yeah, sounds good @Chinatown. Thanks

I used to work for Tankstar/Schwerman in Nashville.
Tankstar has a terminal in Chattanooga under the name Rogers Cartage.
We delivered chemicals to a place in Charleston, TN and I think TransWood has a terminal close to that place.
I ran 48 states which is what I prefer. Anyway, best wishes!austinmike and jlawson1979 Thank this. -
