At Kooltrans your governed at 65 unless your idle is over 19 percent, I was in Phoenix last month and had 50 percent on the QC, still ran @ 65 mph. Yes we have the Espar bunk heaters, will keep you nice and toasty.
Its total idle time on the truck, (sense it was last reset by the shop) Not per day. What I used to do was stock a crap ton of time in the winter then I could idle the hell out of it in the summer with no issue.
Yeah, total idle time, but it was my second load, guess I should have mentioned that. Don't forget the mpg bonus , 1 cent for 6.6 and 2 cents for 7.0, paid quarterly on all dispatched miles. I'm @ 7.6 with six weeks left.
That shows how much you know, as being the CEO at Central, he did work for Swift, directly or indirectly, however you wanna look at it. And what doesn't make sense know it all?
Okay wise guy, how many keystrokes on the computer does it take to switch a Knight driver over to Kool Trans?
I just ran into a Kool Trans driver, well not literally, at a cold storage in Belvidere. He liked it real well. I noticed he was pulling a Knight refrigerated trailer so I asked him about it. Lmbo, all he said was the Knight guys are taking them cause they're new trailers. But overall he was happy and I guess if you're going to be gone three weeks at a time that's the main thing. Do those new trucks have fridge/freezer? I'm kinda spoiled
Normally, if you see a non matching tlr is because if a customer screw up or they are delivering a load that happened to be on that tlr. This happens when we drop Kool trans and Knight tlrs at the same shipper. Shipper grabs which ever one and loads it. Originally this was not supposed to be a problem as Kool Trans was supposed to be mostly live load and unload and never drop tlrs. This ended up not working out and they now drop in some locations. So loads get mixed up as they all come from Knight brokage.
