Just wanted to show you guys a good idea for Ram owners. Since the new Rams don't come with Diesel Caps and a plastic DEF cap I found these online and bought them. They not only look great but help keep dirt and gunk from getting in. I won't post the company on here because I don't want to be flagged for anything but they are Billet Aluminum and can be bought individually or as a pair. PMme if you want the link
For Rams with Diesel and DEF

Nice caps......
Looks like you been out getting a little mud on the tires of that new truck lol. -
Actually that happened today pulling into my yard someone didn't open the fence all the way and I had to go into the mud not happy since I just washed it two days ago LOL
-
What do you mean they don't come with caps?
That is the stupidest idiotic idea these idiots came up with.
Another reason why I won't buy another dodge.Big_D409 Thanks this. -
They come with the DEF cap but the diesel cap is basically a piece of plastic that just rests in the grooves and isn't even attached to the truck. The def cap is attached but cheaply made and the gasket around it gets worn quickly.

That's why I took my ram. over to spokain and got it done the right way

But...
Buy a Dodge, buy the best... -
There are a few different brands and models that come with out fuel caps now.
I just had a ford 150 in the shop last week that had a capless fuel fill. -
Yeah i get it is a design trend but it is the stupidest thing I've seen yet, the problem is with dirt more than anything else, I am guessing that there is no way to clean out the crude that accumulated in the bottom of the tank after a year or so?

There actually a seal there just no cap.
It's a little flapper the opens when you shove the fuel nozzle in the hole.
It then automatically closes when you pull the fuel nozzle out.
