Btw bafk in my werner days about a week before I quit I found this really interesting. My trainer name name was chris he had a dedicated route I believe from Springfield ohio back up to Chicago. As soon as he pick me up they gave him a dispatch to buffalo ny he told his dispatch *1. Its out of my route & 2. I don't have no NY sticker or permit. Dispatch message on the qualcomm was something like *you refusing a load you go where we send you & well pay you a extra $150 for it* I told him you seriously gonna go. You better then me cause I would've told them f them & take they truck to the yard. 3 days later they give him a load going to Kansas with no Ktags on the truck. We went through the lady said 26.50 chris told her he was dispatch here & she said its still 26.50 cause no ktags are on the truck. She said if it wasn't paid she would have to call state troopers. So he gave her the money & we used my gps leaving from there to avoid tolls. Days later I told them I quit. Lol cheap as didn't paid for me to stay in a hotel on my trainer hometime.

Sorry bro, I'll invest the time I feel fit. If you drivers want to spend your careers living in fear who am I to stop you?

You know one time I needed fuel bad and the only open fuel island had a dog sleeping in it. My dispatcher told me to fuel or sit so I was forced to run over the dog.......

So many to choose from....my opinion of being "forced" won't change...

Not about *what to choose from etc, Im talking about the *standing up for myself part* thats why I told you twice to read my previous comments*. If I said I got fired in my 20s for telling employers no what makes this situation any different. But that's extremely difficult for you to grasp. But its alright I understand

I'm glad you stood up for yourself. I wish more drivers would. I was merely commenting on the statement you made that "haul this load or your fired" is being forced. I don't agree that that is an example of being forced.

To BHW, not trying to bicker. Just trying to have a discussion.

Oh I understand well I was just using that as a small example *I don't know exactly how dispatch put it* but I been sttod up for myself before I became a driver. I respect people that want to stay in they job & not lose no seniority vacation pay etc. But its wwwaayyyy to many trucking companies out here then to sit & take the harassment from 1 employer. Hell trucking companies want drivers before drivers want them. I believe long as they got no accident & they can work with whatever company they want
