Poly trucking claims to have no forced dispatch.... on outbound loads only, leaving grand prairie, but thats not always true.
If you tell them youll be rdy on one day, they expect you to go that day and they may only have one load, youre expected to take it.
Still better than most companies.
Backhauls are forced. -
No such thing as forced dispatch. Noone is going to come hold a gun on you and force you to drive.
You may need to look for another job, but you can always say no.LoneCowboy Thanks this. -

Plenty. Forced Dispatch companies suck. Worked for one for six months. Left very quickly. Service Transport Company of Houston was big time forced dispatch. Had one time I was off duty and it was 5pm and I was still at the yard. Hadn't even driven the 30 minutes home. Was at the window and was told here ya go you're loading up at 4 am. Pretty much screw any laundry or chores you think you're doing. I brought up drive time and pre-trip and was told oh well just don't go on duty til 15 minutes before you leave. Screw any rest I might need. Had to check tanker and everything. Usually took an hour to get everything set, checked and secured. So knock 2 hours off my ten hour break because of that. I had just gotten back from Augusta GA.
Hopefully that gives people an idea of forced dispatch if they happen across someone who actually supports the system. -

It's still a choice of who to work for.
