Well ya,I'm saying there is forced dispatch.There's companies that don't force NYC but they force everywhere else.Company drivers don't have the option picking and choosing.You either take the load or get fired.

Maybe if just one person reads my post and thinks 'he's right, I DO have a choice' I did good. As a new driver I received alot of good pointers from the old guys and try to pass it on here.
If you sign on to a forced dispatch company and you tell them 'No!' there will be consequences, but you're still the one in control.
One bit of advice I got was "Son, it's not always sunny days and smooth highways. Make yourself a ham sammich and hammer down!"
You will need to step out of your comfort zone to adance as a person and a driver, however it's still a choice.pattyj Thanks this. -

Arguing with a woman is alot like saying no to a dispatcher. There will be consequences and they won't soon forget!
...and no, a driver should not turn down a load just cuz they don't feel like going somewhere. That's why we're drivers, for the adventure!
Cuz it sure ain't for the money!
