Where the problem comes in is when someone is forced to use a machine when they do not really need one. It's not any different than taking the wrong medication. It will do more harm than good.

I'm a faithful CPAP user for 6 1/2 years now, and it's been a life-changer for me. That's why I hate the knee-jerk reactionary application of so-called guidelines. It taints the process severely.

I know that there are people who needs this treatment, but I'm not overweight and don't have any issues as far as gasping for air when I'm sleep, but I do snore, but who doesn't ?, even my 2 year old daughter snore sometimes.
I use to do a lot of weight lifting and exercise, that"s probably why my neck got bigger, but let me tell you, that of all the truck drivers I talk to,none of them has pass the " sleep apnea overnight test", I'm having a very hard time trying to get some sleep while I'm on the CPAP, I hope this gets better; Just in case I'm already looking into another career. Is hard for me because I love being a truck driver, but I have to provide for my family, I hope this issue doesn't affect the trucking industry when it comes to hire new drivers.
