Truck Pro sells Forgitron wheels. I think they are about $275 apiece there the last time I looked at some. I bought a couple of new tires this week and saw a brochure on forgitrons. According to it a set of forgitrons are 10 lbs lighter than any other brand of aluminum wheels. The wheels are forged, machined, and polished just the same as alcoas.

forgitron was a supplier to accuride. they developed a forging process that they use. allows the wheel , while hot and cold to stay on the machine, i think that is right. anyway , great wheels, better price. i just bought 2 in Charlotte , nc this morning. 270 each.

JAS5, I haven't seen any websites with pricing. I've seen a few fliers in Wisconsin and Illinois advertising Forgitron though. I'll try to get a hold of them and post the pricing. I think they were around $220 for the 22.5's and $230 for the 24.5's. Don't hold me to that though

Lastgood, that's some good information. Thanks for sharing

    they are very cheap

here in Europe, Alcoa polished aluminum Rims 9x22.5 cost 295€ now in germany (Supplements steel->alu)

I do not know the price for my country .....

Although we take now that the euro versus the dollar has weakened....
    is still too expensive

according to my previous information 7x 9x22.5 alcoa alu rims =3500€

then the Euro is half more expensive than a Dollar

Has anyone compared the Forgitron to the new Alcoa LVL One for brightness?
Seems like Forgitron has a great rim for the price....

    98989,
I visited Nuremberg to meet my family tree some years ago, awesome country!!!!

The finish on the Forgitron rim is much better than the Alcoa LVL and I have been told that the Alcoa LVL rim can not be polished because of a coating on it.

    Gleeman,
Thanks for your update, do you own the Forgitron?
Do you know any good dealers I can compare prices with?
    Thanks!

JAS5, I put my Forgitron F 47 next to the Alcoa LVL One and the Forgitron looked a little bit brighter. Sorry but I don't know of any dealers in Arizona.

Let us know what you find out and I'm still looking for those pricing fliers. Good luck with your purchase

    Sanderson Tech,
Thanks for the compare of the two rims. How do you clean your new rims?
I am in the research stage on dealers closer to AZ.
    Keep you posted...
