Okay Blue this is for you :)

When I stopped last night I had the remaining time left on my clock:

3 hrs & 45 minutes left on my 11 hr drive time
    And
    6 hrs & 15 minutes left on my 14 hr on-duty

After 8 consecutive hrs in the sleeper my EOBR reset and I got back
3 hrs & 45 minutes available drive time
    With
    6 hrs & 15 available on-duty time.

yes i understand that part silly lol :p
it was the after the 2 hrs part i was makin sure, if you used just 2 hrs from what you had from above, then took the 2 hr sleeper to complete your 10, you would only get 9 hrs to drive for the day, and your 14 would be whatever time you had left from when you went back on duty after the 8 right ^.^
not worrying TOO much about it, i did it that once and dont really plan on doing it much anymore lol just wanted to try and be on time... for a load that my company didnt even know i had lmfao. the address on the bills didnt match address on dispatch, but same city. so i waited a while and csr didnt get back to me, i left (it was just a trailer in the lot, hossler dude said these 2 trailers are ready to go, one to st louis where i was going and the other somewhere else). i stopped for the night and someone finally said just take it to the address. well the next morning they were like um so.. where are you lmao. I was at ashley furniture, and when i got there they were like um you're a day early. the company was like well, you have their stuff and they're ok taking it today so dont worry we'll figure out where the stuff is that was supposed to be delivered today lol

Was looking at CL Transport jobs in my area this morning at home. I always do that to just see wants going on. Man, there is a truck driver hiring frenzy right now judging by the plethora of ads in my local CL. The mega-companies are even advertising in this area which somewhat unusual.

If I would of come out of the 8 consecutive hrs in the sleeper and used up the whole
3 hrs & 45 minutes available drive time
    IN
    6 hrs & 15 available on-duty time.

THEN went back off duty for 2 additional hrs, I would of been able to run
    7 hrs & 15 driving
    IN
    7 hrs & 45 minutes

No, you don't have to sleep. You can just stay up all night surfing the web, then get up and drive for another 11 if you want ;-)

The ONE good thing about the May QC is that tracks your hours for you re the 8-2 split. But I'm about ready to take a 3 lb hammer to that f&!kin thing. And then take it into Brooks and say "Uhhh...the QC done broke..."

I so don't miss the QC,I'm basically local but still drive in both OR & WA far enough to have a log book.
Paper is a-ok!......really simple when you go home every night and have weekends off lol.
It's nice not having big brother connected to my truck.
