Well thanks for stopping by and spending a few bucks in town. Be careful on your scoot cuz a lot tourists are clueless on how to deal with all the roundabouts in town.

It's a nice truck, little bit of stretch on the frame also, set up really well with apu, fridge, inverter, only dislikes are the emissions stuff on it that I am currently in the shop for lol and the company uses peoplenet, which royally sucks.
-
I have over a half million scooter miles under my belt so I've learned a ting or two.
I drive the truck down to Astoria often and then across the bay to Warrenton, constantly dealing with idiot tourists in the two lane roundabout on the south end of Astoria, some of the locals aren't any better.
We need both lanes in the truck and there are big signs on both sides that say DO NOT DRIVE NEXT TO TRUCKS but every #### time so idiot tries it and then gets PO'd because they got cut off lol.
skootertrashr6 and DRVNDRVR Thank this. -
Just got a job offer some where else. Just waiting on the official date to start.
blwjr Thanks this. -
Congrats Mr. Jensen, You will do well. I have found that almost anyone is better pay. some advise if I MAY, bonus pay offered is not to be counted as guaranteed pay.
I will set you a place at the table. -
Y2k said "not sleeping in it"
Good for you!!!!!
Gotta new seat in a million mile rig that I don't sleep in. Lovin' it.
A year ago I saw a bunch of Walsh rigs go by as I sat at the Villa Ponderosa TS in Halsey waiting for a load out of there. Musta been over a dozen gold Petes doin the same thing when I pulled in.
Got a call from a local LTL outfit wanting me and I was outta 46xx.
It's nice having a name and not a number.
I do have to say MTC provided me with a quality trainer and a fair career path so I could move on to greener pastures.
Driving is what you make it.
Stay safe out there all.Y2K Thanks this. -
I think office work has brainwashed Scooter Jones. Turned him to the dark side
skootertrashr6 Thanks this. -
Drvn, can you or one of the others confirm what Darlene said about May trainers are only required to have 6 MONTHS OTR experience? If this is true, I might have to change my mind about considering them!
-
60 plus,
All outfits do this no matter what they tell you. When going in, Tell the recruiter what you want. You may have to wait a week or two for a trainer, or get bused to the trainers location. -
Thanks! Not sure I feel much better about getting trained by someone with just 6 month experience, but we will see how it turns out.
