Forward Facing Cameras

    It was mentioned all but briefly a couple of Safety Meetings ago, that they will be testing forward facing camera's only thru Omnitracs.
    Anyone got any insight on this?

    Just another reason to put blame on the driver.
    Every time a driver cuts you off and Nannie cam records your following distance,youll be required to call into safety.
    Every stability event...same deal..all mine are recorded at under 20mph.
    Stupid!

    Forward facing cameras only. And microphones that listen in on you at all times?

    It's only for people with multiple critical events under their belt and it's not facing inward towards the driver. I don't see the big deal about it. You should have a dash cam anyway.

    The camera for the lane departure already does this. Sounds like they are just testing another brand.
