So I'm wondering what kind of antenna to get for my four wheeler. Definitely gotta be a magnet mount; my wife would kill me if I drilled holes in any of our vehicles. Also want to be able to move it from vehicle to vehicle with minimal effort other than checking SWR. Is the Cobra HG-A1000 21 inch whip any good? Should I check out something else? Price IS an issue. Thanks in advance.

The Wilson 1000 mag mount, hands down, is all you will ever need.

I used a K-40 mag-mount for years it worked very well on CB The wip was 55 in long so it should have been close to the wilson 1000 .....

The only CB antennas I ever got rid of was a RADIOSHACK and a firestick 3 foot one you could not talk a mile with either of them...
