Busy as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest! Finally got home for the holiday on Sunday after turning down a load I couldn't legally haul without permits (I freaking HATE brokers!), now sitting under a slinky load with two ski kiss that got tired and laid down half way across Ohio. Gotta call dispatch Monday to find out when I drop the load (hint: Thursday).
Had some plate loads mixed in with my normal coils. Prefer plate, so I rarely see it that often.

Hey Brsims, I'm going with PGT.
January 6, starting with their orientation e then officially leaving dry van. Let's see what a flatbed would bring to my career. -
Good luck at PGT, Ottman. I've found plenty of drivers that are reasonably happy there. Or at least as happy as truckers ever are. : )
OttMan Thanks this. -

Only on that particular load. Dispatch was desperately trying to get my happy butt home for Christmas. We don't deal with brokers as a rule, which means dispatch doesn't have a lot of experience with the fictions brokers come up with to get a load moved. This load in particular just proved to the company that broker loads often aren't worth the stress and hassle. I'm relatively sure there are decent brokers out there, I just haven't dealt with any.
1catfish Thanks this. -

Left years ago. Mileage pay + flatbed work = suckage.
There are better carriers available. What are you looking to drag around, and where do you live? -
