I had an older Freightliner that if you took the front Springs and compared it to the newer Freightliner they had a way higher Arch and certainly would have lifted the truck up higher.
My point is that possibly Kenworth has a situation like that and maybe someone put a different set of Springs in it that wasn't necessarily for your truck.
I would find a good spring shop and go talk to them because they can probably look at it and tell you whether that's the right Springs or not for your truck.
And someone else it may have replaced them and put spacers under them.
A good Spring Shop should be able to help you.
frame level?

I have been meaning to post a thread on lowering front on W900L-late model. We have a 93 that I bought in 96 and I knew original owner. Also have a 14. The front end on the 14 sat way higher than th 93 but about the same in the back. I found there are alot of them that have a high front end. Talked to a local small fleet owner and he has several w9's with the front slammed. Shackle link change and remove spacers under axle. Well, got to comparing the shackles and spring on the two trucks. The 14 had 7 in c to c shackle links and the 93 has 4 inch. Said fleet owner told me of a dealership in our area that does his. So I talked to them and found out they use the early style 4 inch links like the 93. Part number is K209-82. Takes 4 of them around 60 bucks each at KW but much cheaper for aftermarket online. Oem stamped made in China so make your own decision. I pulled axle bump blocks after measuring the space between rubber and spring. Then swapped out shackles and cut enough out of block spacers to be maybe a 1/4 " more than oe and reinstalled. Lowered front about 1 3/4". And brought truck near level. I am going to get front end realigned when I get time to correct caster, and I will probably take an inch worth of spacers out then. I am in alot of dirt parking lots and barnyard so I don't want to remove all the spacers. Dealer claims all spacers out except wedges and shackle swap equals 4 inch and at 4 inch you need different shocks but mine are fine now. Truck rides SO MUCH better it is not like the same truck. So if any of you have 7 inch shackles and a high stiff front end this seems to be the simplest answer to me. No new driveline issues on my truck or even on the ones dropped the full 4 inch according to dealer.
