Here are a couple of pictures of some frame ramps I had made. I had them made at a local welding shop. It cost me $132.00 to have them made.

I hired a welder to come to my shop and built them the way I wanted them built. I was a heavy hauler and in 7 years I never as much as bent a ramp.

UK drivers like to add this kind of ramps.

I put electronic air suspention unit, sensor, remote controll and modul and I can easily lower and rise frame any way I want

Nice truck as well as nice ramps.

I was surprised how hard frame ramps are to find. Stoops Freightliner told me they would make me a set for $300.00. I thought that was too much.

I went to a welding shop with a picture I found on Truckpaper. He made a few mesurements on my truck. Charged me $132.00.

I pull Reefer trailers with grocery items in them. Average load is 28,000 pounds. All the other trucks at our yard have 22.5 tires and I have 24.5 tires. I needed these ramps to help with the low trailers.

Thanks for all the in-put I recieved from this thread.

Wish I kept up with this thread.
I'd sell you mine for less than 100 and I think I'm half an hour away. Just north of Nashville, Ind.
I've been thinking of taking them off because can't really use them as I run my 5th wheel all the way back and only hook to my own trailer.

    ampm wayne Thanks this.

Watch out for the trailer sliding one way or the other with your type of ramps. I've seen guys use this type and the side strapping gets bent and twisted if the trailer starts to slide sideways. Also watch bending the top rail flange behind the ramps if you end up with a really nose heavy trailer. I like Prairie Boy's ramp the best since I run something similar...mine just don't drop down off the rear frame as much.

Thanks for the info. I went with a simple ramp because I only pick-up light trailers. IF I was hooking to heavy trailers I would have went with a better set up.
